The award honors the franchisor who develops an innovative business model, breaking the standards in his industry. The one, who in a traditional sector of the economy, creates a new concept, which builds a flexible business model of cooperation, so that it adapts to multiple markets and does so in such a way as to create a completely new category.
Therefore, the innovation in the concept, in the business model but also in their practical implementation is rewarded.
“The car rental industry is very competitive both in Greece and in Europe. We identified a gap in the market 12 years ago. While there were big brands, there was also the need for both Tour Operators and retail customers for a growing brand, which would consist of smaller business entities in places (by extension franchise) combined with technology and systems. In essence, there we gave a professional profile to franchisees, who wanted to develop and turn to larger channels and did not have the opportunity until then.
